Cook and Butler was founded in 2009 by Jay Currie and Nick Little and we have been fortunate enough to be able to bring our exclusive on-site catering services to all members of the prestigious Titirangi Golf Club.

We are proud to be able to offer members and corporate sponsors a variety of catered events, whether it be a corporate lunch, cocktail evening, wedding, birthday party or private dining experience in your own home – whatever your needs may be, let our passion for food create something tantalizing and stylish that is unique to you.

Titirangi Golf Club offers a superior venue for your next function or alternatively, we are happy to cater to a venue of your choice.

Collectively we have over thirty years experience in the hospitality industry.
Both born with a great passion for food and desire to travel since a young age, we have travelled extensively throughout the world, boasting international and local experience - working for catering companies and private homes within Europe, United States Of America, Australia and throughout New Zealand. This has included working in five star hotels, world class restaurants, cooking for "A" list celebrities, including royalty and working alongside Michelin star chefs.

Nick was the Executive Chef of the Relish Group for last six years, catering a variety of VIP functions such as the Americas Cup farewell dinner, New Zealand’s Halberg Awards and private dinner parties for some of New Zealand’s famous celebrities. Prior to this Nick worked in the United Kingdom, initially for Ian Schrager’s designer hotel, Asia de Cuba London, before securing the opportunity to work alongside world renowned chef, Tetsuya Wadaki (voted as one of the top 10 restaurants in the world for four years running).

For the past two years, Jay held the position of Executive Chef at The Barrow, providing exquisite delicatessen food and catering for many establishments in the Auckland CBD. Prior to this Jay worked as Sous Chef at Shed 5 in Wellington, before having the pleasure of working with one of New Zealand’s most renowned restaurateurs’ at Saffron in Arrowtown. 
Before returning to Auckland, Jay’s vast experience was capitalised by Amisfield Winery to assist them in becoming an exclusive venue at Lake Hayes Estate in Queenstown.

Our independent travels have inspired us to inject many different international flavors’ into our food. Cook and Butler cuisine is full of intensity and creativity, focusing on food that celebrates life and captivates the palette.
